BlueWave is hiring an Electrical Foreman, Day Shift for a technology and engineering services client based in Memphis, Tennessee. As Electrical Foreman, you will oversee electrical construction teams and coordinate installations for a large-scale, mission-critical facility. This is an onsite, 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity working six 12-hour day shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical installations, including underground duct banks, conduits, cable pulling, terminations, switchgear, transformers, and generators
- Manage and schedule electrical contractors, subcontractors, foremen, and onsite crews
- Ensure contractors adhere to project scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements
- Monitor daily construction progress and maintain project schedules
- Champion and enforce site safety programs
- Proactively resolve onsite electrical construction challenges
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance
- Prepare and present clear project progress reports
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing electrical construction teams on large-scale industrial or mission-critical projects
- 3+ years of electrical installation experience
- Low- or medium-voltage electrical experience
- Commercial or industrial construction experience
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical scenarios
- Experience supervising data center or similar mission-critical electrical construction preferred
- Knowledge of electrical redundancy, grounding, and power systems designed for continuous operation preferred
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and regulations preferred
- Experience with construction management, scheduling, or design-review software preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
