    At Rack Electric, we deliver commercial electrical systems that are safe, efficient, and code-compliant. We’re hiring an operations-minded leader who blends field savvy with engineering rigor to guide projects and people—from first concept to final inspection.

    Impact You’ll Make

    • Direct commercial and field installations, meeting code, schedule, and quality targets.
    • Own electrical engineering reviews, perform load calculations, and shape system designs.
    • Produce, audit, and file permit-ready plan sets and documentation with building departments.
    • Align project managers, electricians, and vendors to keep work flowing smoothly.
    • Visit job sites to verify progress, resolve issues, and reinforce safety and QA/QC.
    • Coach field teams, transferring technical knowledge and best practices.
    • Track evolving codes and standards; incorporate updates into designs and methods.

    Must-Have Credentials

    • Journeyman or Master Electrician.
    • 10+ years in commercial/field electrical environments.
    • Demonstrated strength in electrical engineering principles and load calculations.
    • Proven ability to read, draft, and submit electrical plans for permits.
    • In-depth knowledge of national and local electrical codes.

    • Project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
    • Clear written and verbal communication across all levels.
    • Independent execution with collaborative teamwork in fast-moving settings.
