Palm Beach Electronics is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in South Florida. We work on high-end residential projects where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail matter. We’re looking for someone who understands electrical construction and can confidently take a project from plans and specifications to a complete, accurate estimate.
What You’ll Do Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and proposals
Obtain and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
Identify scope gaps, potential conflicts, and cost-saving opportunities
Prepare pricing for revisions and change orders
Coordinate with sales, project management, purchasing, and field teams
Maintain organized estimating documentation and project records
Help ensure projects are properly scoped and priced before they move into production
What We’re Looking For 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, labor, and installation practices
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience performing takeoffs and building estimates from the ground up
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Comfortable communicating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
Dependable, organized, and able to take ownership of your work
Experience with
luxury residential construction, lighting and lighting control, generators, low-voltage systems, or smart-home technology is a plus
