Electrical Estimator - Substation
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator specializing in substation projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for substation construction and upgrades, analyzing project requirements, and submitting competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for substation projects, covering materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify cost factors and risks.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotes and pricing.
- Prepare and submit bids, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project execution and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in electrical estimating, focused on substations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software, strong knowledge of substation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
