Electrical Estimator/Project Manager

About the Job:

Our staffing agency represents a family owned, growing electrical contractor that is looking for a Project Manager. The company has a 4.3 rating on Glassdoor and works with on projects in and around Chicagoland.

This Chicago-based company is seeking a PM to help on some commercial projects in Chicagoland.

Role:

· Manage commercial design build projects that includes working with budgets, estimates, and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

· Project are only in Chicagoland

· Control the day-to-day including developing a master schedule in collaboration with the Principal in Charge, this project deals with government entities

· Manage the shop drawing/submittal schedule and RFI's and scope development.

· Lead meetings on-site, package bids, pay estimates, change orders, and really manage the entire project.

Required:

· 2+ years experience as a project manager managing $100k-$10 million projects

· Submittal Preparation & tracking experience

· Ability to read blueprints, PM software, and manage subcontractors.
