Electrical Estimator
Multifamily Construction – Jacksonville, Tampa or Orlando, FL
Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with an electrical contractor to identify three Electrical Estimators with multifamily construction experience. Candidates may be based in Jacksonville, Tampa or Orlando, Florida.
This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented estimator who understands apartment construction and can develop complete, competitive electrical proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical takeoffs and estimates for multifamily buildings, amenities, site work and common areas.
- Review drawings and specifications; identify scope gaps and prepare bid questions.
- Estimate labor, materials, equipment and subcontracted scope using project-specific assumptions.
- Validate repeated unit types, building counts, service distribution and site infrastructure quantities.
- Request supplier quotes, compare alternatives and document exclusions and qualifications.
- Own complete bids, lead estimate reviews and deliver clear scope and budget handoffs to operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred, including independent ownership of complete multifamily bids.
- Ability to develop complete estimates and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of multifamily electrical installation methods and applicable codes.
- Experience with electrical estimating and digital takeoff software; Accubid familiarity helpful.
- Strong Excel, communication and bid-deadline management skills.
- Ability to work from an agreed Florida location; work arrangement will be discussed during screening.
