Summary:
Performs surface mount soldering and rework of fine-pitch electrical components for embedded hardware.
Uses electronic test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for circuit debugging.
Evaluates schematics and circuit board layouts using CAD programs such as Altium.
Works with electromechanical systems, cables, enclosure design, and circuit assembly.
Supports embedded hardware design and troubleshooting of counter-UAS (CUAS) systems.
Assists with PCB layout, circuit design, and microcontroller-based systems.
Applies understanding of embedded engineering design principles for prototype and production environments.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary engineering teams in prototype and production environments.
Familiarity with PCB IPC standards for soldering and assembly quality.
Applies knowledge of RF, defense, and aerospace industry standards for system development.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
2-5+ years of relevant industry experience in electrical engineering or electronics technician role.
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) soldering and rework experience for fine-pitch components.
Experience using electronic test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Experience with electromechanical systems, cables, enclosure design, and circuit assembly.
Understanding of embedded engineering design principles including PCB layout, circuit design, microcontrollers, and related technologies.
Familiarity with PCB IPC standards for soldering and assembly.
Experience with schematic evaluation and circuit board layout using CAD programs such as Altium.
RF, defense, or aerospace industry experience is preferred.
Technical certificate or degree in electronics or related field is preferred.
