    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our client, with a strong background in FPGA and digital design to lead the development of secure, tactical communication products. In this role, you will oversee a team of embedded FPGA engineers responsible for designing and implementing firmware for advanced wireless communication systems.
    The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of experience in FPGA/firmware development, along with proven leadership in managing technical teams and complex projects. You will be accountable for resource planning, scheduling, and budget management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and validate FPGA solutions for radio product development.
    In addition to technical leadership, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, ensuring both project success and individual career growth.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage a team of FPGA engineers, including goal setting, performance management, and professional development
    • Drive project execution to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and performance metrics
    • Continuously improve FPGA development processes and best practices
    • Develop cost estimates and project schedules for FPGA initiatives
    • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement FPGA-based solutions
    • Support hiring, training, and career development of direct reports
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in FPGA/ASIC development and verification for embedded systems
    • Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects
    • Strong understanding of FPGA/ASIC development and verification methodologies
    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
