Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for robotic products.
  • Support development of motor control and motion control subsystems.
  • Assist with electrical power distribution, power supplies, and power electronics designs.
  • Integrate motors, sensors, actuators, and control hardware into larger robotic systems.
  • Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
  • Develop electrical schematics, technical documentation, and design specifications.
  • Participate in prototype builds and hardware validation activities.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering teams.
  • Recommend design improvements to enhance reliability and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with electric motors, motor controls, motion controls, or power systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles and hardware test methods.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical or electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Robotics development experience.
  • Experience with servo motors, BLDC motors, or motor drives.
  • Power electronics and power supply design experience.
  • Experience with embedded hardware and control systems.
  • Medical device, robotics, automation, aerospace, or industrial equipment experience.

W2 CONTRACT : This is a Long term Contract opportunity on site with an established and leading medical technology organization.

This is a Contract position based out of Weston, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
