Electrical Engineer Ross Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to support design and execution of industrial electrical systems across a variety of projects. This role will focus on power distribution and/or instrumentation & controls, with opportunities to contribute across the full project lifecycle—from design through field support and commissioning.The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, practical field awareness, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and construction teams.Key Responsibilities Develop and support electrical designs for industrial projectsPrepare and review equipment submittals, including: Medium Voltage (MV) switchgearLow Voltage (LV) Motor Control Centers (MCCs)Motors and associated equipmentDesign and support systems involving: 4160V and 480V power distributionInstrumentation and controls systemsPLC panel design and layoutCollaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure successful executionProvide engineering support during construction and commissioning phasesAssist with troubleshooting, field walkdowns, and system verificationEnsure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirementsSupport documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement effortsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)PE license not required, but strongly preferred or willingness to pursue licensure5-8+ years of relevant electrical engineering experienceExperience Requirements Experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects preferredHands‑on experience with one or more of the following: Medium and low voltage power systems (4160V / 480V)Instrumentation and controlsPLC panel designExperience preparing or reviewing equipment submittalsField experience or exposure to construction environments is a strong plusKey Skills Strong technical problem-solving abilityEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracyComfortable working between office and field environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
