    Electrical Engineer

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join an innovative engineering team focused on the design, development, and support of advanced industrial battery chargers, power electronics, and lithium-ion battery systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to next-generation energy storage and charging technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance products for industrial applications.

    The ideal candidate has experience in electrical design, power electronics, battery systems, and product development, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position is well suited for an engineer who enjoys taking products from concept through validation while driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and support electrical systems for industrial battery chargers, lithium-ion battery packs, and power conversion equipment.
    • Collaborate with Engineering, Research and Development, Manufacturing, and Quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
    • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical documentation.
    • Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product verification activities.
    • Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve product performance and reliability.
    • Perform electrical analysis, component selection, and circuit evaluation to optimize system performance.
    • Ensure products comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and industry standards, including UL and ISO requirements.
    • Support new product introductions, engineering change requests, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and cross-functional engineering projects.
    • Maintain detailed engineering documentation, test reports, specifications, and product records.
    • Assist Manufacturing and Quality teams in resolving production-related electrical issues and implementing design improvements.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend design enhancements that improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably involving power electronics, battery systems, or industrial power applications.
    • Experience designing electrical systems, power conversion equipment, or industrial electronic products.
    • Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology, battery management systems, and industrial charging systems.
    • Proficiency with electrical CAD software and electrical simulation tools.
    • Experience performing electrical testing, validation, troubleshooting, and system verification.
    • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience designing battery chargers, DC power systems, power supplies, inverters, or energy storage systems.
    • Knowledge of embedded electronics, control systems, or battery management systems (BMS).
    • Familiarity with UL, IEC, CE, or other electrical safety and compliance standards.
    • Experience supporting new product development and product commercialization.
    • Background in industrial equipment, renewable energy, electric vehicles, or material handling equipment.
    • Experience with continuous improvement, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), or Design for Assembly (DFA).
