Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to support transmission and substation engineering projects within the Energy & Utilities industry. The engineer will work with senior engineers and project teams on the design, review, documentation, and implementation of electrical systems for utility-scale transmission lines and substations.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior engineers with transmission and substation projects.
Support preparation and review of electrical drawings and design documents.
Assist with basic electrical calculations and equipment specifications.
Learn and support substation equipment such as transformers, breakers, CTs/PTs, and grounding systems.
Assist with transmission line and high-voltage electrical engineering activities.
Support engineering teams with project documentation and technical tasks.
Participate in design reviews and help identify basic design issues.
Work with senior engineers and project teams to complete engineering deliverables.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
1–5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Utilities, Energy, Power, or EPC.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
Exposure to transmission, substation, or power systems through work, internship, or academic projects is a plus.
Ability to read basic electrical drawings and schematics.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
