Experience working with large datasets, including historical defect data, inspection records, and operational data to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives. Analyze and interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts to generate actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams.

Electrical Engineer
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: 12+ Month Contract 

Pay: $60 per hour, W 2

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts to generate actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams.
• Predict and prioritize transformer defects and overhead/underground electrical line defects.
• Collaborate with field operations, Protection & Control, and engineering teams to validate machine learning-driven predictions.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment, protective device settings, electric distribution operations, and distribution power flow analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets, including historical defect data, inspection records, and operational data to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Thorough investigative skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of distribution engineering.
