Job Responsibilities:
- Provide RF and Microwave engineering support for existing products while working closely with senior engineers.
- Test and evaluate RF components and modules to ensure performance meets design specifications
- Generate and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for RF products and assemblies
- Design and support the development of test fixtures for RF characterization
- Contribute innovative ideas and state of the art thinking to improve business performance
- Participate in programs, projects, and initiatives aligned with Mercury''s culture and strategy
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation.
- Stay informed on industry trends and ensure Mercury''s best practices are met or exceeded
- Rotate through multiple technical disciplines to broaden skills and experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s or master''s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on RF and Microwave Design obtained between May 2026 and June 2027
- A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the application process
- Prior Co-Op or internship experience
- Solid understanding of RF circuit fundamentals, Microwave Amplifier design techniques, and Transmission lines.
- Experience with RF simulation tools such as AWR, ADS, HFSS, or equivalent circuit/EM simulation software.
- Experience presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Demonstrated initiative through academic projects, internships, or process improvements
- Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD tools for circuit design and layout
- Capable of independently conducting RF measurements using Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and other lab instrumentation
