Electrical Engineer - Power Design (Consulting)

Our client, a well-established and consistently profitable consulting engineering (MEP design) firm in the Columbus area, is hiring an Electrical Engineer for its design team. A BSEE is required. This is an office-based design engineering role, not a field, operations, or technician position.

What you'll do:

- Design power distribution systems and prepare one-line diagrams

- Run short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies in SKM PowerTools

- Produce electrical construction documents in Revit

- Coordinate with mechanical engineers on design packages for data center and telecom buildings, among other project types

What we're looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required); EIT or PE a plus

- Electrical design experience with a consulting engineering or MEP design firm

- Revit and SKM experience preferred

- Data center or mission-critical design experience a plus

- Able to work in the office in the Columbus, OH area (no hybrid or remote)

- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
