    Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEP Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for a variety of building projects including commercial, healthcare, laboratories, educational, institutional, and transportation facilities. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in building systems design and multidisciplinary coordination.

    What I'm Looking For:


    • Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, switchgear, emergency power, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems
    • Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings for construction documents
    • Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection for low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems
    • Develop technical specifications, design reports, and design narratives
    • Coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and engineers from other disciplines
    • Conduct site surveys and evaluate existing building conditions
    • Perform construction administration duties, including field inspections, responding to RFIs, and preparing inspection reports
    • Attend project meetings and communicate design requirements with clients and project teams
    • Support project delivery while maintaining quality and schedule expectations


    What's Required:


    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 5+ years of experience in the AEC or facilities design industry
    • Experience designing electrical systems for commercial or institutional buildings
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD
    • Revit experience preferred
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
    • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
    • Experience with sustainable building design (LEED), Navisworks, or SKM software is a plus
