Key Responsibilities
Qualifications & Requirements
- System Design: Develop single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and electrical equipment layouts.
- Power Studies: Perform load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analyses using specialized software.
- Equipment Specification: Select and specify transformers, generators, switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and cabling.
- Grid Interconnection: Coordinate with utility providers to connect the plant to the main electric grid.
- Control Systems: Support SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) integration.
- Compliance & Support: Review vendor submittals, provide construction support, and assist during facility startup and commissioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Experience: 3 to 7+ years of experience in power systems, industrial facilities, or A&E consulting.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE standards, and power system analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools)
Required- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
- Plant power distribution experience .
- Lighting, power distribution, manufacturing systems power.
- Titanium manufacturing and Automation systems experience are a plus.
