Electrical Engineer

About the Role

A leading manufacturer in the metals and materials industry is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to provide technical support for plant operations and project initiatives at its Lancaster facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance while supporting the business plan through engineering solutions and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering support to production, maintenance, and administrative departments to meet operational and business goals.

• Coordinate all phases of assigned projects, including concept development, scope definition, specifications, bid solicitation, equipment design, procurement, installation, start-up, and project close-out.

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical and electrical systems within the plant.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure all projects and activities comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical engineering or completion of two engineering internships.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.

• Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Familiarity with large-scale capital projects, automation systems, and electrical troubleshooting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: USD $70,000 $100,000 (commensurate with experience).

• Employment Type: Full-time, onsite.

• Bonus Eligible: Yes.
