The Electrical Engineer will support extrusion manufacturing operations by improving electrical and control system reliability, leading capital projects, driving safety and sustainability initiatives, and providing hands-on technical support in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing electrical, automation, and control systems that are critical to plant operations and equipment performance.

- Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of manufacturing, industrial, or controls engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial power systems, motor controls, PLCs, and automation equipment.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, and industrial networks.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
- Experience managing capital projects from concept through commissioning.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, aluminum extrusion, metals manufacturing, or other heavy industrial environments preferred.
Support and improve electrical, controls, and automation systems for extrusion production equipment.
- Lead electrical equipment upgrades, control system modernizations, installations, and facility expansion projects.
- Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical assets.
- Manage CAPEX budgets, project schedules, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate work with maintenance personnel, contractors, OEMs, and vendors.
- Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, motion control, and instrumentation issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams to achieve operational goals.
- Support electrical system design, documentation, and standards development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
