Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software, excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to work with and guide a team of engineers are crucial for success in this role. Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension) 

Scope:

• We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team, leading active implantable product development projects as part of the R&D Hardware Design team.
• The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience leading technical projects through the design verification testing (DVT) phase and the ramp into production volumes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning DVT testing with various SMEs, test protocol development, performing bench testing with standard EE lab equipment, coordinating and tracking test investigations, reviewing and summarizing electrical test data and leading failure analysis activities.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering! 5+ years with BS; 3+ with MS
• Product development experience specifically within the electrical DVT phase
• Yield improvement experience
• Data analysis experience in platforms such as Mini Tab, JMP, or Microsoft Excel
• Proven track record of leading and closing projects involving cross-functional team.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software, excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to work with and guide a team of engineers are crucial for success in this role.
• Experienced in technical aspects of design and verification
• Closeout of a design
• Experienced getting a design approved.

Possible extension

• Possible temp to hire for right individual, and if budget allows.
