Role Overview:
  • Works on electrical problems of moderate scope while receiving general guidance from senior professionals.
  • Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Supports continuous improvement and automation activities across the facility.
  • Works with medium voltage systems and machine control systems, including PLCs and Servo systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, remote I/O, HMIs, and associated Rockwell software.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
  • Experience with industrial Ethernet communication and machine network layout and design.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial automation is required.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with knowledge of production and maintenance processes, is preferred.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience managing contractors and maintenance technicians.
  • Ability to design, develop, and oversee electrical control systems.
