Job Title: Electrical Engineer II
Job Description
This Electrical Engineer II role offers the opportunity to own products from concept through production in a small, fast-growing electronics design and manufacturing environment based in Cary, NC. You will design and develop schematics and PCB layouts, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and overseas manufacturing partners, and work directly with customers on technical topics, project status, and issue resolution. The position provides strong growth potential toward technical leadership and increased customer ownership, along with flexible scheduling and clear visibility to tenured engineers and leadership.

Work Environment
This role is based in a small company environment that emphasizes visibility, ownership, and growth opportunities. You will work closely with tenured engineers and leadership, gaining direct exposure to decision-making and product strategy. The company offers flexible scheduling with core hours from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing some flexibility around start and end times while ensuring collaboration during core hours. The environment is hands-on and product-focused, with engineers involved from concept through production, and frequent interaction with customers and overseas manufacturing partners. You can expect to work with modern PCB design tools such as Altium or equivalent platforms, and to engage with technologies including MCUs, high-speed interfaces like LVDS and eDP, FPGA-based systems, and display-related hardware.
