Electrical Engineer (IB3)Location: Houston, TX 77064Business Unit: CESBGJob Classification: ExemptSummaryThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating the electrical aspects of facility and infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all electrical components from design and installation to testing and commissioning are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with codes and standards. The engineer works closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to define project requirements, develop schedules, and oversee progress to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical systems, excellent project coordination skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements into successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibility
Responsible for the preparation and processing of the construction plans, identifying possible errors, having them repaired by the designer, compiling material and equipment requirements, submitting investment requirements, and technical monitoring.
Compile the project plan and continuously monitor its development (schedule, costs, etc.).
Oversee the requesting of quotes, conduct comparisons, and prepare final decisions on quotes.
Accept any completed work after having any warranty repairs carried out.
Accountable for enforcing EHS and security aspects of all projects assigned.
Basic Qualifications /Education
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant fieldsAt least 3+ years of professional experience in a similar field.
