Description

Electrical Engineer I
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Duration: 6–12 months
Pay Rate: $33.34–$35.72/hr. 
 
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer I with 1–3 years of experience to support the testing, evaluation, and certification of digital sub-circuit designs for radio communication products. This role will work closely with electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams in a hands-on lab environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and evaluate digital sub-circuit-level designs and PCB changes.
  • Read schematics and navigate/review PCB layouts.
  • Perform in-circuit measurements and troubleshoot electrical design issues.
  • Complete certification test plans and assist with product validation.
  • Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, bench power supplies, and other lab equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve design issues and support existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on product requirements and design specifications.
  • Perform minor soldering and hands-on lab testing as needed.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with digital circuits and digital board design.
  • Proficiency reading schematics and reviewing PCB layouts.
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other test equipment.
  • Digital sub-circuit design and testing experience.
  • Python experience required.
  • C experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
