Req ID: 572 Job Title: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER I Location: Jacksonville, FL, US 32201 Job Type: Full-Time Education: Bachelor's Degree Travel: Up to 25% Job Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Solid understanding of electrical theory and engineering techniques. • Ability to read and interpret schematics. • Familiarity with lab tools (multimeter, power supplies, etc.). • Familiarity with engineering standards (ASME, IEEE, NEC, IEC, etc.). • Good computer skills with Microsoft Office applications. • Working knowledge of military connectors, terminals, wiring, and circuit protection a plus. • Working knowledge of both AC (single and three phase, 60-400Hz) and DC electrical systems a plus. • Working knowledge of serial communication protocols (RS232, RS482, RS422, ARINC-429, etc.) a plus. • Working knowledge of video (VGA, DVI, DP, HDMI) and communication (USB, Serial, Ethernet) connectivity a plus. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. • Experience in reverse-engineering a plus. • Must be able to travel. • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing. • Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract. Education and Experience • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited school, Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred. • Some experience with CAD tools; AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Electrical experience is preferred.
