Job Title : Electrical Engineer
Location: Horicon, WI -53032
Duration: 24 Months
Interviews: 2 rounds Teams Video- 1 hr., 1 onsite- 4-5 hours to include tour, etc.
Introduction
As an Electrical Engineer located in Horicon, WI, you will develop vehicle electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and some compact utility tractors. You will work closely with supply management, quality, PV&V, program management, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing experience
- Experience with developing, designing, or testing electrical components, wiring harnesses, schematics, and a good understanding of software/hardware interaction
- Demonstrated experience owning and managing project deliverables
- Knowledge of general product development processes
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
- Provide clear, concise oral/written communication
- Ability to work off-shift hours, as needed, to support production during builds
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Agriculture or other off-highway vehicle development experience
- Experience creating and maintaining bills of material for vehicle systems or test equipment systems
- Experienced in either product development software development or writing test scripting in embedded product validation and verification such as SIL or HiL test stand
- Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools
- Project management experience
- Experience leading and training new team members/peers
- Experience leading design/test work performed by remotely located team members
- Advanced training in additional engineering disciplines
- Experience with systems engineering practices
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own and develop electrical system requirements (hardware and/or software) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop and release electrical systems that include vehicle harnesses in the production system
- Create and organize bills of material for electrical systems on vehicles
- Work with outside suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integration
- Provide build support at various stages throughout the product development cycle
