    Description

    We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for electrical infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, and control systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with hands-on responsibility for
    troubleshooting, electrical and controls engineering, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and capital projects.

    What You’ll Do

    Electrical & Controls

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, controls, and equipment issues.

    • Support repairs and improvements to analog, digital, and computerized process control systems.

    • Work with PLCs, ladder logic, HMIs, motor controls, DC drives, and low- and medium-voltage power systems.

    • Develop and implement design modifications that improve safety, quality, productivity, and operating costs.

    Reliability & Continuous Improvement

    • Identify equipment and system inefficiencies and develop solutions.

    • Improve preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and asset utilization.

    • Support initiatives focused on production flow, lead time, recovery, costs, inventory, and overall system capability.

    • Lead or support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

    Projects & Capital

    • Coordinate electrical and construction/outage activities with production and maintenance teams.

    • Assist with the development and execution of capital maintenance and capital investment projects.

    • Support equipment installations and supplier activities.

    • Evaluate challenges during installation, help develop solutions, and refine requirements as needed.

    What You’ll Bring

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

    • Engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

    • Experience with PLC programming, ladder logic, and HMI software.

    • Experience with machine control systems, motor controls, and low- and medium-voltage equipment.

    • Working knowledge of DC drives.

    • Experience with AutoCAD.

    • Working knowledge of applicable electrical and workplace safety codes.

    • Familiarity with materials and their application to facility and equipment maintenance.
