    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze, troubleshoot, and rectify machine, facility and process problems
    • Complete machine Preventative Maintenance duties as scheduled
    • Utilize electrical test equipment for troubleshooting electrical systems to determine corrective actions and repairs
    • Help maintain inventory control of parts and equipment
    • Provide training to other electricians and mechanics
    • Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate
    • Participate in health & safety and quality audit process.
    • Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. See JSA & PDA for this position for details safety instructions
    • Understand TS / ISO requirements /Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through the Quality Policy.
    • All other related duties as assigned from time to time

    DIRECT REPORTS:

    • None

    SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Good communication, planning and organizational skills.
    • Strong planner, well organized, able to handle conflicting priorities
    • Knowledge of hydraulics and related electrical control systems, PLC systems, pneumatics, and chemical processing equipment
    • Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, PMXpert, MS Outlook, MS Internet Explorer or equivalent, Basic Excel

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associates degree in a technical field
    • Five years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Ability to read and interpret documents and training materials such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are required.
    • Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts, fractions, percentages,

    ratios and proportions in practical situations.

    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
