Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in EPLAN for electrical design and documentation. The ideal candidate should have experience with electrical wiring schematics, control drawings, BOMs, manufacturing documentation, and engineering change notices.


Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Bethlehem , PA

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical designs, wiring schematics, and control drawings using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Create and maintain general arrangement drawings for control panels using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), wire charts, and manufacturing drawings.
• Review engineering and manufacturing documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Work closely with project engineering and project management teams to maintain project documentation.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and incorporate relevant information into electrical and engineering documentation.
• Create and maintain component BOM documentation and piping-related drawings based on P&IDs and customer specifications.
• Generate and maintain Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Ensure designs and documentation align with applicable ASME/BPE and bioprocessing equipment standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering/design experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8 Required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to create and interpret electrical wiring schematics and control drawings.
• Experience with BOMs, wire charts, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs Preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering change processes and ECNs.
• Knowledge of ASME/BPE standards is preferred.
