As a result, maintaining high standards for initial product quality, reliability, and time-to-market is critical to both customer satisfaction and overall business success.Essential Job FunctionsTroubleshoot prototype and production PCBs as needed, utilizing lab tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.Circuit simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout using SPICE, Altium, and other toolsGeneration and maintenance of all Engineering drawings including Schematic, PCB assembly, BOM, Programming Instructions, etc. on a project-by-project basisDesign, configure, and maintain IP-based media networks for remote video production, including utilization of private 5G networks and SMPTE 2110 standardsWork with manufacturing, RF, comms, and camera shops to ensure successful builds of new equipment and long-term reliability of hardwareDesign tasks may include any of the following:Digital, analog, power supply, or RF circuit boardsFPGA design and maintenanceDSP programmingEmbedded C programmingPerform new product design, product improvements, and testPrepare concept sketches, layouts, and specification documents.Prepare basic analysis, test, performance, and schedule information.Prepare and report on progress, feasibility, and concept studiesTravel as NecessaryEducation RequiredBachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineeringExperience RequiredCollege coursework in: digital design, digital communications, digital signal processing, EM theory1-10 years of experience related to electrical engineering designExperience PreferredPrior internship(s) or work experience related to electrical engineering design in similar industryKnowledge/AbilitiesProficient in Word and ExcelExcellent writing and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsAbility to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing demandIND123#J-18808-Ljbffr
