Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Facilities (Remote, Eastern US)
Location: Remote – Targeting candidates in the Eastern half of the US
Travel: Required – up to 9 manufacturing facilities across the US (Once every month or two - Travel/Lodging expenses will be reimbursed)
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in industrial facility operations to create and update one-line diagrams for each of our manufacturing plants. This role requires hands-on knowledge of electrical systems within a plant environment and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal training.
Create and update one-line diagrams for each manufacturing facility (9 plants across the US).
Travel to each facility to gather information, take pictures, and document existing electrical infrastructure.
Support additional projects such as furnace rebuilds, shutdowns, new equipment installations, and power studies.
Collaborate with plant teams and engineering staff to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and internal specifications.
5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility environment.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD - must have hands-on experience creating and updating electrical drawings.
Experience working in plant/facility environments (not controls or electrical part design).
Ability to travel to multiple US manufacturing sites as needed.
Self-starter who can work independently and hit the ground running with minimal training.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
