Job Description & Skill Requirement: Scope:
Provide electrical design support for custom industrial machinery by producing production-ready electrical documentation and control panel designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts.
Create wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Select appropriate electrical hardware.
Update and maintain legacy electrical documentation.
Support compliance with UL508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards.
Coordinate with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
Strong experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience with machine control system design.
Knowledge of PLC I/O, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits.
Experience working in an ETO (Engineer-to-Order) environment.
Preferred Experience:
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation.
UL508A and NFPA 79.
Plastics extrusion or converting industry experience.
Industrial automation and machine safety experience.
