Description

We are seeking an Electrical Designer - Controls to support a growing engineering organization in Dayton, OH. This onsite role offers the opportunity to support electrical engineering projects and custom control panel design while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.
 
Location: Onsite - Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and circuit layouts.
  • Develop and modify electrical drawings using Revit.
  • Support projects from design through fabrication and installation.
  • Assist with PLC and HMI electrical design documentation.
  • Support control panel design and fabrication activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and fabrication teams to deliver practical solutions.
     

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proficiency with Revit.
  • Experience with electrical design, wiring, circuits, cable systems, and electrical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Associate degree with 3+ years of electrical design experience OR Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of electrical design experience.
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to work independently.
     

Preferred:

  • Control panel design and/or fabrication experience.
