You will collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders to analyze project requirements, identify design constraints, and propose innovative solutions to optimize electrical system performance. You will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise in electrical design principles, codes, and regulations will be essential in selecting appropriate components and equipment, such as transformers, motors, circuit breakers, and control panels.Position Responsibilities: All LevelsProvide computer aided design (CAD) drafting, and prepare drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, vendor data, and sketchesCoordinate and consult with engineers or other designers to complete projects, ensuring adherence to established specifications and standardsSupport equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverablesSupport the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilitiesPresent design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholdersPlan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirementsIdentify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and scheduleWork is generally independent and collaborative in naturePrepare, review, and approve electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring BOMs and designsLevel IV Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort requiredParticipate in project scoping, planning, status reporting, and scope managementWork is highly independent Level VAll responsibilities of level IVMonitor progress and performance against the project plan and proactively address issuesProvide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibilityWork AutonomouslyQualifications:4 - 7+ years experience, depending on the level of the positionBachelor's or Associate's degree or equivalent preferredComputer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D CAD experience requiredDesired Skills and Competencies: Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills - written and verbalAttention to detailHigh level of personal integrityStrong relationship capabilitiesProficient in both written and spoken English About BowmanAre you ready to build a career that makes a lasting impact?
