About :Become part of our team as an Electrical Design Technician in in Greenville, SC or Pittsburgh, PA who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business.
Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities as well as data center facilities.
You will also work on industrial facilities such as pulp and paper mills and steel mills.At our client, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team where interaction and communication are key to our success. We provide you with cutting-edge software tools and guidance from our professionals. Where you take it is up to you.
Your highly interactive team will produce electrical installation plans along with 3D models of equipment, lighting, conduit, cable tray and other electrical raceways. You will develop layouts of major electrical distribution equipment and determine the location of other electrical panels and equipment.

Qualifications:- An associate’s degree from an accredited technical institution or college in Computer Drafting and Design, Architectural Drafting, or similar program or 2 years of on-the-job experience
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of drafting in the construction industry
- Working knowledge of Revit as well as Navisworks and/or Revizto
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Knowledge of manufacturing, petrochemical and industrial facilities
- Working knowledge of Revit as well Navisworks and/or Revizto
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Responsibilities:- Take direction from engineering or other design staff
- Prepare drawings and other deliverables
- Interact with other disciplines
Comments/Special InstructionsCandidate must have experience using Revit either in the classroom or on the job.
This has a potential to go from temporary to permanent
Must report to office two days a week minimum. More during the first several weeks.
