    Role: Electrical Design Engineer
    Client: Leading Multidisciplinary Design & Engineering Consultancy
    Essentials: Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, 4+ years’ design experience in consultancy, proven ability to produce electrical tender documentation, proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit desirable), strong technical knowledge of building services systems, full driving licence and own car
    Location: Limerick 
    Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 
    Package: Hybrid working (2 days on the office), private medical insurance, bike-to-work scheme, pension, on-site parking.
    Progression: Opportunity to develop into a leadership role, managing and growing the Building Services Electrical Design Department
    Reporting into: MEP Director
    Our client, a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high-value industrial and commercial projects nationwide, is seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Limerick. They cover all aspects of electrical systems, from wiring and power distribution to control systems and energy management. This is a pivotal role supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of projects, such as distilleries, data centres, food manufacturing, and chemical facilities.
     

    The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with power supply and distribution systems, general electrical services, fire protection, lighting and emergency lighting, data and communication systems, CCTV, access control, intruder systems, and integration with mechanical systems. Experience with AutoCAD is essential, while Revit capability would be an advantage.
