    Electrical, Controls Systems Engineer – Industrial Electro-Mechanical Machinery

    We are seeking an Electrical & Controls Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in systems engineering and mechanical integration to join a leading industrial equipment manufacturer with over 40 years of excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, custom automation systems across multiple industries.


    Responsibilities


    • Design and develop industrial control systems, including PLC/HMI programming, power distribution, and automation architectures.
    • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electromechanical systems, design layouts, and ensure system performance.
    • Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and similar tools.
    • Validate and troubleshoot systems during build and commissioning (minimal travel).
    • Generate technical documentation including BOMs, test procedures, and manuals.


    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in electrical design, industrial automation, or electromechanical systems.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens preferred).
    • Knowledge of machine safety standards.
    • Experience in system-level design, motion control, and mechanical system integration.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
