Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Electrical Control Panel Technician to assemble and wire custom industrial control panels. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting equipment used across industries such as energy, chemical processing, power generation, and life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings
- Assemble and wire custom control panels according to engineering and customer specifications
- Install electrical components, terminals, wiring, and related hardware
- Use hand and power tools to complete panel fabrication and assembly
- Learn different equipment configurations and customer-specific requirements
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with engineering, production, and other shop personnel
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- 1 to 2 years of electrical, electronics, or instrumentation education preferred
- Experience using drills and other basic tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
