As an Electrical Inspector, you will provide field inspection and quality oversight for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring electrical installations are completed safely and in compliance with contract requirements, applicable codes, and project specifications.
We require the services of an Electrical Inspector to inspect new and upgraded water and wastewater conveyance and facility electrical equipment. Duties include verifying code compliance of wiring for pumps, valves, sensor, generators, panel boards, and miscellaneous other electrical equipment associated with small water treatment facilities. The Electrical Inspector will identify environmental hazards. You will inspect existing structures requiring upgrades and repairs. You will liaise with stakeholders regarding remedial action as well.
To ensure success in this role, you will apply your knowledge of engineering fundamentals and safety regulations to ensure the soundness of building structures. Top candidates will be of unimpeachable integrity, detail-oriented, and assertive.
You will have the ability to work independently and perform duties at the construction site. To effectively make minor decisions concerning work in progress and solving field and office problems. The base salary range for this position is $55.00 to $95.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
