Electrical Construction Field Safety Specialist

 

Our client, an established electrical contractor in the St. Louis area, is adding a Field Safety Specialist to its team. This full-time, onsite role is a great fit for someone early in their safety career who likes working hands-on with field crews. Entry-level candidates are welcome.

 

What you'll do:

- Build trust and strong working relationships with field teams

- Lead orientations, toolbox talks and safety training

- Perform regular jobsite audits, assess hazards and take immediate corrective action

- Respond to and investigate incidents, and document near misses, injuries and property damage

- Work with customers, peers and other trades on project safety plans

 

What we're looking for:

- High school diploma, or equivalent experience in a construction safety role

- OSHA 30 Construction training

- Electrical industry experience preferred

- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, risk management or a related field preferred

- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
