Electrical Construction Field Safety Manager

 

Our client, a well-established electrical contractor in the St. Louis area, is looking for a Field Safety Manager to lead safety across its industrial projects. This is a full-time, onsite role for someone who enjoys being out on jobsites and coaching field teams.

 

What you'll do:

- Run documented jobsite safety inspections and audits, and follow through on hazards and corrective actions

- Build job-specific safety plans with operations leaders during preconstruction

- Attend safety huddles and coach foremen and crews

- Monitor subcontractor safety compliance

- Lead incident response, investigations and root cause analysis

- Develop and deliver jobsite training and support new-hire orientation

- Keep safety reporting and documentation current

 

What we're looking for:

- 3 to 5 years in a construction safety role

- OSHA 30 certification

- A BCSP credential (such as CHST, ASP or CSP)

- Data center experience is a big plus

- Solid knowledge of active construction jobsites

- Clean driving record

- Comfortable on your feet and walking sites all day
