Our client is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to support engineering and design teams in developing detailed electrical drawing packages for infrastructure projects. Working closely with designers, engineers, and project managers, you will translate engineering concepts into accurate, high-quality drawings that support construction.

Create and revise 2D electrical drawings, including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, conduit and cable routing plans, grounding plans, panel layouts, and termination diagrams.
Develop and update instrument location plans, input/output (I/O) layouts, and loop diagrams for instrumentation projects.
Work under the direction of engineers and designers to prepare construction drawing packages that meet client and company standards.
Follow established drafting standards, CAD layer controls, title block requirements, and drawing conventions.
Incorporate redlines, update as-built drawings, and assist with document control.
Assist with plot plans, equipment layouts, and 3D markups as needed.
Participate in quality checks and internal drawing reviews.
Coordinate with team members across disciplines to support accurate and timely drawing deliverables.
High school diploma or GED, plus coursework in drafting or CAD-related technology.
At least one year of relevant experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting software; 2D drafting experience is required.
Ability to interpret engineering sketches, redlines, and markups.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Specialized CAD certification or an associate degree in drafting technology.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, or other discipline-specific design tools.
Experience with 3D drafting.
Familiarity with electrical or instrumentation design in an industrial or utility environment.
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt within a collaborative team.
