Pay Range:
$17.00 - $21.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

Seeking a Junior-Level Electrical Assembly Technician for a leading manufacturer in the Youngstown, Ohio area. In this role, you will assemble, route, and wire electrical components and instrumentation for industrial compressor equipment, working from technical blueprints and schematic drawings in a collaborative shop environment.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings to plan assembly steps.
  • Plan and execute clean conduit routing around equipment obstacles using manual or powered conduit benders.
  • Install electrical devices, junction boxes, control components, and instrumentation on industrial compressor packages.
  • Pull, route, and terminate various types of electrical wiring according to schematic specifications.
  • Perform basic welding to attach mounting struts for conduit placement on equipment skids.
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets to track, manage, and import cable tags and wiring data.
  • Collaborate with production team members to coordinate upcoming wire routings and implement corrective action plans.
  • Cross-train in other shop assembly functions as needed to support team operations.
 
Requirements
  • 1-year technical school certificate or equivalent training, along with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and tape measures accurately; basic shop math skills.
  • Familiarity with conduit bending tools, basic wire termination, and spot welding for struts.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing cable tags.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
