Job Overview

Associated Staffing is hiring an Electrical Assembly Technician in Kearney, NE! This position offers a 4-day workweek, competitive pay and opportunities to develop valuable electrical and mechanical skills.

In this hands-on role, you'll assemble, wire and test electrical systems used in grain drying equipment. Electrical experience is preferred, but we're willing to train dependable individuals with strong mechanical abilities, a stable work history and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and components.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams.

• Test electrical equipment and troubleshoot issues.

• Use hand tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks.

• Track production time and quantities for work orders.

• Operate forklifts to move materials and components.

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

• Follow established safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical wiring or assembly experience preferred.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.

• Dependable attendance, punctuality and a consistent work history.

• Ability to follow instructions, learn new processes and retain training.

• Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on assembly tasks.

• HVAC or PLC experience is a plus but not required.

• No electrical license required.

Schedule

• Monday Thursday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM

• Three-day weekends under the regular schedule.

• Friday or weekend overtime may be required based on production needs.
