    Lead Electrical Assembly and Testing at Our Shoreview Facility

    Step into a hands-on leadership role where you guide a high-performing electrical assembly team, uphold Westinghouse safety standards and processes, and keep production moving with precision. As the Electrical Assembly Operations Supervisor, you will report to the Manufacturing Manager and work 100% onsite in Shoreview, MN.

    A day in this role

    You’ll start by aligning priorities with production needs, confirming the team’s training status in PowerHub, and checking the P6 schedule for electrical assembly activities. You’ll walk the floor to support teams physically when qualified, review work orders for new jobs, and ensure ECO updates are reflected. Throughout the day, you coach technicians, assign mentors for new hires, and coordinate resources for maintenance tied to electrical equipment. When testing ramps up, you’ll oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), verify test equipment readiness, and support FAT technicians from plan through completion.

    Your impact

    • Direct electrical personnel and ensure adherence to Westinghouse safety standards and processes.
    • Train, qualify, and schedule electrical shop personnel to support production and facility needs.
    • Act as resource manager for electrical assembly personnel, providing hands-on support as qualified.
    • Maintain and update the P6 schedule for electrical assembly activities; support rescheduling if delays occur.
    • Ensure onboarding is thorough and each new hire has an assigned mentor.
    • Determine required training and qualifications for each process/job/task; assign training in PowerHub and ensure everyone is current.
    • Ensure training qualifications are completed on time and maintained properly.
    • Conduct PFP meetings throughout the year and make merit decisions.
    • Address personnel performance issues.
    • Approve weekly time and vacation requests.
    • Assign resources for maintenance (PM) work tied to electrical equipment.
    • Support QC with any final structure as-builts.
    • Ensure work orders for electrical work are created upon release of a new job and ahead of shop need.
    • Review and approve work orders before handing off to the shop; incorporate ECO changes.
    • Estimate hours to produce electrical assemblies in-house.
    • Ensure Manufacturing electrical procedures observe Level 2 procedures and current site practices.

    Factory Acceptance Testing leadership

    • Review and approve engineering test procedures.
    • Ensure proper equipment is available and ready for project testing.
    • Oversee FAT technicians and provide support throughout the test plan.

    Location and reporting

    Onsite in Shoreview, MN. Reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • 8+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment.
    • 3+ years as a manager or supervisor in a manufacturing facility.
