Assembly Helper (Electrical Experience) Day shift M-F 6:00am - 3:30pm
An Assembly Helper with electrical experience assist technicians and assemblers with building, wiring, and assembling industrial equipment used in natural gas processing, compression, and energy production.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Assist electrical technicians and assemblers with installing and assembling electrical components, equipment, and control panels.
Help route, pull, label, and organize electrical wiring and cables.
Assist with mounting conduit, cable trays, junction boxes, switches, and electrical enclosures.
Read basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings under supervision.
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble equipment and perform basic mechanical tasks.
Help assemble industrial skids, compressor packages, and related equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist skilled electricians and technicians with inspections, testing preparation, and troubleshooting as directed.
Handle materials, move components, and support the production team in meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
Qualifications and skills
Previous assembly, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and electrical tools.
Ability to read or learn to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and material handling.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
Willingness to work in an industrial shop environment and follow strict safety procedures.
Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods, as required by the position.
