Travis Electrical Service is looking for a dependable, motivated Electrical Apprentice who wants to learn the trade, develop real-world skills, and build a long-term career with a growing electrical company.
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians on residential and commercial service calls while learning electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair.
Assist experienced electricians and service technicians on electrical service calls
Help install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
Learn to inspect and test electrical components
Assist with planned maintenance and installations
Learn how to communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Help keep service vehicles stocked and organized
Properly use and care for company tools and equipment
Follow company safety procedures and electrical industry standards
Participate in training, meetings, and workshops to continue developing your skills
We're looking for someone who is hungry, humble, smart, and ready to learn.
High school diploma or GED
Electrical experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Dependable and ready to work
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
Ability to meet the physical demands of electrical work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces
Must be able to comply with company drug-testing requirements
