Electrical Apprentice
Responsibilities:
* Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues on high-speed packaging lines, conveyors, filling equipment, paint lines, compressors, and other equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance, including testing pressure switches, replacing fluorescent tubes and ballasts, and operating generators
* Assist with replacing faulty wiring, switches, relays, motors, and sensors under direct supervision
* Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical specifications while maintaining a clean work environment and following LOTO and OSHA safety protocols
Required Skills & Experience:
* Understanding of electrical systems, hand tools, and multimeters
* High school diploma or GED
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm
* Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Completion of an Electrical trade school program or pre-apprenticeship is preferred
