1 Electrical Apprentice Job Overview : As an Electrical Apprentice , you will work under the guidance of a licensed journeyman electrician assisting in the installation , alterations, additions and/or repair of electrical systems , conductors, associated materials, and equipment on any type of project . Responsibilities: • Assist journeyman electrician in work involv ing the completion of skilled electrical tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. • Assist in diagnos ing and analyz ing causes of electrical problems . • Assist with the installation of fixtures and electrical repairs • Professional customer service attitude is a must . Qualifications/Requirement s: • Prior relevant electrical experience or enrollment in a n electrical trade school. • Understanding of basic electrical theory and its application to installations. • High School diploma or GED . • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Strong work ethic and self- motivated to learn a skilled trade. • Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team. • Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record. • OSHA 10 or other relevant safety certification is preferred. Additional Requirement: Ability to pass a full background screening that includes a criminal background, drug test, driving record, and physical ability test.
