Electrical and Electronic Technician
Phoenix, AZ
Hourly pay: $32/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on carts, lift equipment, fume extractors, test stands, and shadow boxes to ensure operational readiness
- Oversee annual upkeep for 45+ pieces of shop and test equipment, minimizing downtime
- Coordinate calibration schedules and activities for all shop tools and equipment
- Order, assemble, and deploy new workstations, supporting continual shop upgrades
- Execute basic repairs and improvements on high-usage connectors, cable assemblies, and test equipment
- Maintain and develop shop processes, safety documentation, and workflow records
- Assist TSE engineers with routine repairs and vendor-coordinated maintenance tasks
- Manage recurring maintenance schedules, inventory, and respond swiftly to urgent needs
- Support general facilities and shop tasks as assigned for seamless daily operations
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years in a technical support, engineering technician, manufacturing technician, or maintenance technician role
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with mechanical systems and electrical assemblies
- Skilled in basic troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and workflow documentation
- Strong organization and communication skills for effective collaboration and task tracking
- Comfortable working on physical tasks in a shop environment
